Wet Helium-3/Dilution Refrigerators

Kelvinox – A series of dilution refrigerators designed for seamless integration into magnetic and cryogenic environments. It is capable of being configured for a wide range of experimental applications and various research areas such as solid state physics, superconductivity, astrophysics and semiconductors.

Heliox – A range of single shot He-3 refridgerators offering the best combination of specification, experimental access and flexibility. The utilization of advanced sorption pump technologies reduce base temperatures and helium consumption and increase overall cooling power.

Cryofree Dilution/He/Spectroscopy Cryostats

Triton™DR – This series allows temperatures below 10 mK to be achieved without the need for liquid helium. Offering up to 400μW of cooling pow er in addition to a 18 T superconducting magnet (UHV specified systems are also avaliable).

Triton3He – Offering temperatures below 300mK to be achieved without the need for liquid helium. Having incorporated flexible thermal couplings to the pulse-tube cooler to minimize vibrations which in turn make this system suitable for the most sensitive measurements.

TritonXLLiquid Helium/Nitrogen Spectroscopy Cryostats

Cryojet/Microstat/Optistat/ – Offering a broad range of nitrogen spectroscopy cryostats covering a wider range of applications from x-ray diffraction to fluorescence spectroscopy. A unique feature relating to these products is its low cryogenic consumption, hold time and windows that allow for customer variations.

Optistat/ESR/Microstat/Spectrostat – These series of various liquid helium spectroscopy cryostats cover a wide range of uses including electron spin resonance, nuclear magnetic resonance, raman and photoluminescence.


Comprised of a range of compact cryostats with optical access cooled by a closed cycle refrigerator. The system is capable of cooling samples to helium temperatures without the need for liquid cryogens. This provides significant benefits in terms of ease of use and running costs. The system enables optical and electrical measurements to be carried out on your samples.

  • Wide sample temperature range from < 3 K to 300 K
  • Typical cool-down time from ambient to 10 K in 120 minutes
  • Suitable for a wide range of experiments and different spectroscopy techniques (UV/VIS reflectivity and absorption, Raman scattering, FTIR, Fluorescence, Photoluminescence, Electrical transport measurements, Ultrafast spectroscopy, THz spectroscopy, Electroluminescence, etc.)
  • A wide range of different sample holders, windows and wiring options enable you to upgrade your system as your experimental needs develop
  • No liquid cryogens are required
  • The OptistatTMDry comes with f1 and large clear optical access as standard

Software & Instruments

Mercury iTC – Allowing for configurable expandable and intelligent control for all range of cryogenic systems.  Its intuitive touch screen interface allows for easy monitoring, control and configuration of experimental systems.
