Pilot freeze-dryers are devices for process optimisation or small batch production in flasks (vials) or product trays.

Our wide range of models covers product capacities from 4 kg to 16 kg per drying cycle. The temperature-controlled shelves for your product are sized between 0.11 m² and 1.2 m².

The Epsilon 1-4 LSCplus freeze dryer is a very compact, general purpose high-performance laboratory and pilot unit for tabletop installation. The application area of this unit extends from routine drying operations to process optimisation tasks.

This unit is suitable for drying solid or liquid, mainly aqueous products in vials, ampoules, tubes, other glass containers or dishes.

The integrated drying manifold design facilitates the use of round-bottom flasks and wide-neck bottles.

The directly cooled and heated shelves made from Teflon coated solid aluminium enable especially fast cooling and heating processes.

The applications of the Epsilon 2-6D LSCplus freeze dryer include the drying of bacteria or cultures, viruses, blood plasma, serum fractions, antibodies, vaccines, medicines such as chloramphenicol or streptomycin, vitamins, biomass and plant extracts for biochemical tests.

The Epsilon 2-6D LSCplus is also ideal for product development and small-scale production activities.

The Epsilon 2-10D LSCplus freeze dryer is a general-purpose, high-performance pilot unit featuring stainless steel shelves with internal heat transfer media channels for heating and cooling, enabling it to meet even the most stringent demands of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The key features of this unit are its drying options using up to seven shelves with a total area of 0.98 m2, adjustable shelf spacing from 38 to 170 mm, and a hydraulic stoppering device with optional stainless steel bellows seal. The Epsilon 2-10D LSCplus is equally ideal for product development and small-scale production activities.
