Gas Analysis

Gas analysis has become indispensable in countless applications throughout vacuum science, semiconductor applications, process engineering, medicine, climate research, volatile organic identification and basic scientific research.

Scitek has a wealth of experience with mass spectrometry and gas chromatography and are proud to offer high end solutions from our suppliers Pfeiffer Vacuum, InProcess and Inficon.

Residual Gas Analysis (RGA) is an analytical technique used for identifying the gases present in vacuum environments. This process often called fingerprinting can assist in fixing leaks in vacuum systems and eliminating contaminants which cause process problems or product failures.

Our PrismaPlus represents the ideal combination of high sensitivity, maximum stability and intelligent operation. Its modular design offers a variety of application
options in industrial and analytical environments, in research & development, in leak detection and semiconductor production, as well as in coating technology.

Pfeiffer Omnistar Functional Layout

OmniStar and ThermoStar are compact benchtop analysis systems for sampling gases from atmospheric pressure down to 10-3 mbar. They are the perfect complete solution for gas analysis, especially in chemical processes, the semiconductor industry, in metallurgy, fermentation, catalysis, laser technology and environmental analysis. The analysis systems consist of an inlet system, a PrismaPlus mass spectrometer, a dry-compressing diaphragm vacuum pump and a HiPace turbopump.

The INFICON 3000 Micro GC Gas Analyzer is a powerful GC solution that provides fast, accurate, reliable analysis of your gas sample on-line, right at the sampling point. It is ideal for
the rapid analysis of gas streams in alternative energy, coal mine safety, and the hydrocarbon processing industry, which includes refineries, natural gas production and distribution, chemical operations, and oil and gas exploration. Its rugged construction ensures long-term, trouble-free operation. And with its modular design, reconfiguration and repair can be easily and quickly accomplished by interchanging Micro GC modules, keeping you in control of your gas analysis and your process, The 3000 Micro GC can simultaneously analyze samples on up to four independent Micro GC channels.  Each channel (or module) is a self-contained GC comprised of a micro-machined injector, detector, and high-resolution capillary column. Together with the high speed detection system, most analysis can be completed in seconds, not hours.

We cover high end industrial gas analysis applications with our partner InProcess. Examples include:
